Pesarattu Dosa with Coconut chutney

This recipe is one of the popular breakfast recipe in andhra pradhesh.It is made with green gram and rice.It does not contain urad dal.It is very healthy breakfast.Gonna share right below try this recipe and enjoy


for dosa
Green gram- 1 cup
idly rice- 1 cup
coconut-3/2 cup
cumin seed - 1 tsp
green chilly - 1
red chilly - 1
ginger-1/2 inch
shallots - 2 to 3 nos
corriander leaves
curry leaves

for coconut chutney
coconut - 3/2 cup
green chilly - 2
roasted gram - 1/2 tsp
salt as required

for tempering
oil- 1 tbsp
mustard seed - 1 tsp
curry leaves

wash and soak green gram and idly rice overnight

Transfer to the blender blend it as a fine paste

Transfer to the bowl and add salt as required and mix it well

Now close the lid,wait for 5 to 6 hours until it gets ferment

After fermentation,green chilly,red chilly,coconut,cumin seed,ginger add these ingredients to the blender and blend it like fine paste

Add that paste to the batter and mix well

Add chopped coriander and curry leaves and mix well,now the batter is ready.Now its ready to cook the pesarattu dosa

Take a pan grease oil,pour the batter and spread it like usual dosa.Drop some oil over the edges,cook in a medium flame

Turn to the other side

Now pesarattu dosa is ready to serve

For coconut chutney take a blender add coconut,roasted gram,green chilly,salt and water as required,blend this as a fine paste

For tempering add oil to the pan,and then mustard seed and curry leaves

Now yummy pesarattu dosa and coconut chutney is ready to serve
