Today im gonna share south indian version of pepper chicken.It is very simple as needs no marination and no coconut.My husband totally fell for this delicious pepper chicken.Roasted pepper soothes your throat suffering from cough and cold.Pepper chicken is very well suited in winter time.Try this once and enjoy
Ingredients:
chicken - 500g
onion - 2
tomato - 2
ginger - 2 inch
garlic - 5 to 6 pods
curry leaves
green chilly - 2
whole spices
whole pepper - 1 tbsp
fennel seed - 1 tbsp
crushed pepper - 1 tbsp
oil and salt as required
corriander leaves
Instructions:
Take a blender,add ginger,garlic,whole pepper,fennel seed blend this as a fine paste
Take a pan,add oil and whole spices
Add that ground paste and saute well.and then add curry leaves,green chilly
Add finely chopped onion and required salt,turmeric powder and saute well.now Close the lid let the onion cook for 5 minutes
Its time to add tomatos,saute well.Close the lid let it cook untill it gets mashy
Add the chicken to the gravy,mix well and cover the lid let it cook for 20 minutes in a medium flame remember dont add water
Now its ready to serve.it goes well hot steamed rice
