Today im gonna share keerai masiyal using pressure cooker.it is very easy and tasty one.it is goes well with hot steamed rice.Speciality of the recipe is i have combined egg plant along with spinach to increase the taste of the recipe.It came out really well..Im gonna share this yummy recipe right below
Ingredients:
spinach-1 bunch
onion-2 (finely chopped)
tomato-2 (finely chopped)
egg plant-1(roughly chopped)
green chilly-2 no
chilly powder-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
cumin seed-1 tbsp
urad dal-1 tbsp
mustard seed-1 tbsp
tamarind juice-2tbsp
asafoetida-1/2 tsp
salt and oil as needed
Instruction:
Wash the spinach in running water about two to three times
Now take a pressure cooker and fill 1 cup of water in it
Take a bowl which we gonna place in presure cooker,Add keerai,onion,tomato,green chilly,egg plant.
Now add red chilly powder,turmeric powder,tamarind juice,salt and mix it well.Remember dont add water along with that.it will ooze out some natural juice while cooking
Pressure cook this about 5 to 6 whistle
After release pressure,take that bowl out from pressure cooker.Now mash all together using spatula
Take a wide pan,add some oil
Once oil get hot add mustard seed
When the mustard seed cracks add urad dal,cumin seed and asafoetida
Now add that spinach gravy into the pan.Let it boil for 2 mins.
Now its ready to serve with hot steamed rice
