Ingredients:
Fish
Shallots-4(sliced)
tomato-1(finely chopped)
green chilly-2(slit)
garlic-3(crushed)
vadagam-1tbsp
kulambu powder(corriander+chilly powder)-3 tbsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
coconut-5 small slice
salt as required
gingelly oil-3 tbsp
Instructions:
Wash and Cut the onion,tomato
Crushed the garlic and slit the green chilly
Take a half lemon size tamarind soaked in a warm water
After 10 mins extract the pulp and keep it aside
Wash and cut the fish,add turmeric and mix it well
Take a pan,add gingelly oil once the oil heats add vadagam.And then add garlic and green chilly saute for a min
Add onion and then tomatos saute well untill it get mashy
Add required salt and kulambu powder and mix well,Now its time to add tamarind juice,let it boil for 5 mins
Take a blender,add coconut and shallots blend them as a fine paste
Now pour that mixture into the pan and mix well
Add half cup water again mix well,close the let it boil for about 10 min untill it get thicken
After 10 mins add the fish one by one and close the lid let it cook for about 5 mins,now cook in a medium flame
Turn the fish head to the other side again close the lid let it cook for 5 mins
Now finally add some crushed garlic and close the lid, switch off the flame.It will give the nice aroma
