Egg omelette curry is a delish recipe. You no need to make side dish for this recipe. It really goes well with aapam ,dosa,idly,chapati,hot steamed rice,idiyappam. Already i have posted poached egg drop curry but this recipe is quite different and simple one. Try this yummy recipe and let me know how it turned out for you
poached egg drop curry
Ingredients:
For egg omelette:
Egg - 4Onion - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
coriander leaves - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as required
Milk - 1 tbsp
Green chilly - 1 tsp (finelly chopped)
For grinding:
Poppy seed - 1 tsp
Whole pepper - 1 tsp
Fennel seed - 1 tsp
Cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
Grated coconut or desicated coconut - 1/2 cup
For curry:
Oil - 3 tbsp
Fennel seed - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Onion - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Tomato - 1
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Kulambu powder (mix of chilly and coriander powder) - 2 tsp
Salt as required

Instruction:
Take a bowl,add egg,onion,green chilly,coriander leaves,turmeric powder,salt,milk beat them well
Now pour that batter in a panniyaram pan,cook both the sides and keep aside
Take a pan,add poppy seed,fennel seed,whole pepper,cumin seed,coconut dry roast the ingredients and transfer to the blender make it as fine paste
In the same pan add some oil,fennel seed,curry leaves
Once its splutter add onion,saute well until it become translucent,Add ginger garlic paste saute well
Add tomatos saute well until til get mashy
Now add turmeric powder,kulambu powder and saute well for 2 mins
Add some water let it cook for 2 mins
Now add that coconut paste and mix well.Cover the lid let it cook for 10 mins in a medium flame
Add egg omelette to that curry again close the lid let it cook for another 10 mins in a medium flame
Now its ready to serve
