Mutton white kurma - This recipe reminds me my childhood days,my grandmother and mom used to make this recipe when i was doing my 5th standard and after that point of time they have changed to make kurma with chilly powder. Seriously i m telling you guys white mutton kurma really goes well with any kind of pulavs,ghee rice or normal hot steamed rice. I really loved the recipe and my little one too. Ingredients:
Mutton - 500g
Onion - 1 1/2
Tomato - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Cinamon - 1/2 inch
Cloves - 2 nos
Star anise - 1/2
Salt and oil as required
For spice powder:
Oil - 1 tsp
Coriander seed - 1 1/2 tbsp
Cumin seed - 3/4 tbsp
Fennel seed - 1 tbsp
Green chilly - 5 to 6 mos
For coconut paste:
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Poppy seed - 1/2 tsp
Cashew nut - 4 to 5 (optional)

Instructions:
Wash and cut the mutton pieces
Take a pan,add oil,coriander seed,cumin seed,fennel seed,green chilly,cinamon,cloves,star anise fry until it turns aromatic
Now take a pressure cooker,add some oil and then add two bay leafs,onion saute for few mins until it become translucent
Add glass of water,mix well close the lid let pressure cook this about 4 to 5 whistles in a medium flame
For coconut paste,take a blender add coconut,poppy seed,cashew nut(optional),grind them as a fine paste
Now add that coconut paste let it cook for 10 mins in a medium flame or untill oil seperates from the kurma
