Egg puff is a very popular snack item in indian bakeries. It makes for an excellent crispy and crunchy snack,filled with onion stuffing.There are several varities of puff available in bakeries like chicken puff,mushroom puff,veg puff,panner puff. It is a perfect snack along with tea in evening time and some people used to take it as breakfast. Try this yummy recipe and let me know how it turned out for you

Ingredients:

Puff pastry sheet
Egg - 2 (boiled )
Egg - 1 (egg wash)

For stuffing:

Ginger - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Garlic - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Green chilly - 1 tsp (chopped)
Onion - 2 (sliced)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt and oil as required

Instructions:

I have already posted how to make puff pastry sheet in  my previous post,Cut the sheet into equal square shapes
For stuffings,add oil,chopped ginger,garlic and green chilly chilly 


Saute until it turns aromatic
Now add sliced onion and required salt,saute until it reached golden brown color


Add turmeric powder,chilly powder,garam masala powder,saute well for few mins


Now take the first sheet,place onion stuffing and half boiled egg in the centre 


Egg wash over all the corners,fold all the edges to the centre


Second sheet,place onion stuffing and half boiled egg in the centre 


Egg wash over all the corners,fold only two edges to the centre


Egg wash over the surface,preheat the over for 140 deg for 15 mins,bake it for 25 mins


Ready to serve

Egg omelette curry is a delish recipe. You no need to make side dish for this recipe. It really goes well with aapam ,dosa,idly,chapati,hot steamed rice,idiyappam. Already i have posted poached egg drop curry but this recipe is quite different and simple one. Try this yummy recipe and let me know how it turned out for you

Ingredients:

For egg omelette:

Egg - 4
Onion - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
coriander leaves - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as required
Milk - 1 tbsp
Green chilly - 1 tsp (finelly chopped)

For grinding:

Poppy seed - 1 tsp
Whole pepper - 1 tsp
Fennel seed - 1 tsp
Cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
Grated coconut or desicated coconut - 1/2 cup

For curry:

Oil - 3 tbsp
Fennel seed - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Onion - 1 
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Tomato - 1
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Kulambu powder (mix of chilly and coriander powder) - 2 tsp 
Salt as required

Instruction:

Take a bowl,add egg,onion,green chilly,coriander leaves,turmeric powder,salt,milk beat them well


Now pour that batter in a panniyaram pan,cook both the sides and keep aside



Take a pan,add poppy seed,fennel seed,whole pepper,cumin seed,coconut dry roast the ingredients and transfer to the blender make it as fine paste


In the same pan add some oil,fennel seed,curry leaves


Once its splutter add onion,saute well until it become translucent,Add ginger garlic paste saute well
Add tomatos saute well until til get mashy


Now add turmeric powder,kulambu powder and saute well for 2 mins


Add some water let it cook for 2 mins
Now add that coconut paste and mix well.Cover the lid let it cook for 10 mins in a medium flame


Add egg omelette to that curry again close the lid let it cook for another 10 mins in a medium flame


Now its ready to serve

South Indian style okra fry.I have learnt this recipe from my mom. She used to make this as side dish for sambar rice that will be a great combo ever i have tasted.It is very easy and simple dish u can make in no time with simple basic ingredient.Try this yummy fry and let me know how this turned for you

Ingredients:

Okra/bhindhi - 1 cup
Onion - 2 
Fennel seed - 1 tbsp
Chopped ginger and garlic - 2 tbsp
Curry leaves
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

Instructions:

Wash and cut the okra into fine small slices
Take a pan,add some oil,onion saute well untill it become translucent


Now transfer this to a blender and add chilly powder,turmeric powder blend this as a fine paste


In the same pan add some oil fry the okra until it become dry and keep it aside


Now add some more oil once the oil heats add fennel seed,curry leaves,chopped ginger saute well until it become aromatic


Add finely chopped onion,saute for few mins,Now add that onion paste,saute for 5 mins in a medium flame


Add okra to that paste,coat them well let it cook for 10 mins in a medium high flame,stir often


Now its ready to serve with rice or chappati
