Mushroom matar gravy - This recipe is very simple to make in no time. The special ingredient which i have used in this recipe is kasthuri methi it gives extra flavor to the recipe. Ingredients:
Mushroom - 1 cup
Green peas - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 (large)
Tomato - 1 (medium)
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Garlic - 4 to 5 pods
Green chilly - 2
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - less than 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Kasthuri methi leaves - 1 tsp (crushed)
Cumin seed - 1 tsp
Salt and oil as required

Instructions:
Cut mushroom into medium large size and keep it aside
Take a pan,add some oil and then add green chilly,ginger garlic,onion,tomato saute well until soft and mushy
Once it cool down.transfer to blender blend it as fine paste
In the same pan add some oil,once the oil heats add turmeric powder,chilly powder,coriander powder,cumin powder
Saute for 2 mins,and then add mushroom and required salt saute for 5 mins in a medium flame or until slightly shrink
Add green peas saute for 5 mins.Here i have used frozen green peas if you are using fresh one close the lid let it cook for 7 to 8 mins in a medium flame
Now add onion tomato paste and mix them well
Adjust the consistency of the gravy with water and mix well
Close the lid let it cook for 10 mins in a medium flame
After 10 mins add garam masala and freshly crushed kasthuri methi leaves mix them well
Finally add chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame
Now mushroom matar gravy is ready to serve
