Usually i normally cook lamb kulambu and lamb chukka for the past one year we really get bored to have a same style of recipes so i thought to make it quite different.my mom suggest me to cook chettinad kulambu. This chettinad lamb/mutton kulambu is damn delicious with homemade spices. The meat is so tender,juicy and flavorful.It goes well with chapati,phulka,roti,naan,hot steamed rice. Just give this a try and let me know how it turned out
Ingredients:
mutton/Lamb - 500g
Onion - 2 (medium size)
Tomato - 2 (medium size)
Ginger garlic paste - 2tbsp
Fennel seed - 11/2 tbsp
Cumin seed - 1 tbsp
Whole pepper - 1 tbsp
Red chilly - 7 nos
Cinnamon- 1/2 inch
Gloves - 3
Cardamon - 1
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Salt and oil as required

Instructions:
Wash and cut the muton/lamb
Saute well till it become translucent ,Add turmeric powder and saute well
Now add ginger garlic paste,saute well until raw smell go,Add tomatos and saute well untill it become mashy
Close the lid let it pressure cook for about 9 whistles in a medium flame for lamb,if its a mutton then pressure cook this about 4 to 5 whistles
